I am financial mamager in the borad of ESN Potsdam. I am amazed at the international student’s curiosity and thirst for knowledge
when it comes to German culture. This provides me with another viewpoint on
life in my home country and opens my eyes for all its great treasures.
I like to travel by car, watch the changing landscape pass by, see and smell
different climates, meet a range of people with different mentalities and
habits.

During my own semester abroad, i noticed how many difficulties you have
to cope with, when you come in a foreign city in another country, and
now i want to help the Erasmus Students here with these things, so that
they have a great time here in Potsdam.
At the moment, I do not have a special task at ESN, but I attend to

After I have seen a lot of England, I enjoy exploring
Germany together with international visitors. Even though I am from a suburb or
Berlin, used to never be very interested in the city and rather wanted to get
out and see the world. Been there, seen a lot, returned and noticed that Berlin
has changed quite a bit in the last 10/15 years. Now I am very proud to live in
the green city of Potsdam with the pulsating capital of Berlin just a 20 minute
train ride away.
Last summer semester I organised a weekend trip to Schwerin, beautiful lakeside
city three hours from Potsdam. Our group of thirteen, in which no two people came
from the same country, had a great time on the lake, visiting the castle and at
the free Nena concert. Since the place is best enjoyed in summer, we won’t go
there in the winter semester. But we will once again have tour of the TV
studios of our local TV channel in Babelsberg.

Resulting from my yearlong Erasmus exchange in Groningen (Netherlands) I found ESN Potsdam and started to love it here as well. I love the English language and so I am more than grateful for everybody who speaks to me in English J

Inside ESN I run the party group and take care of the administrative stuff. I love organizing different events. So I am always happy to get ideas for parties, events and trips! :) I live in Berlin, do a lot of things with my sister (she is member of ESN Potsdam, too), do sports and I write my thesis about foreign students in Germany. When I have finished my studies I want to travel abroad again, maybe even work for some time in another country.
